I wanted them just to keep my legs warm sitting around the house in the evenings - we live in a very rural area, heat with wood, and its been a very cold winter here in south Missouri. Besides that - I'm less than five feet tall and overweight. These legwarmers would come to my waist if I could pull them all the way up, but I couldn't find any on the website that appeared to be for short, fat people. These are just wonderfully warm though. I just pull them on and bunch them up as far as my knees (my knees are too fat to pull them up over). Then I put on my long flannel night gown and curl up on the couch and read, crochet or just watch TV. They were definitely worth the price and maybe shorter ones wouldn't be as good, but some time I would like to find a pair for a short, fat, old lady. Gosh, I might even have to learn to knit and knit myself a pair. Thank you all for your help and attention - I really loved the candy in the package with my order. And the speed with which it arrived. Y'all are good and I really appreciate it.
